Entomology in the University Curriculum in Canada

Abstract: The number and kinds of courses in Entomology at Canadian Universities are briefly described. There is a discussion of two approaches to the undergraduate degree: one, the broad approach, where only one course in a specialty is taught but many disciplines are covered, and two, the narrower approach, where many courses in the specialty are given.The author favours the broad approach.
