“…It is also noteworthy the joint presence of obsidian from different sources, distant from each other, which would demonstrate the circulation of groups around several different spaces and/or the existence of extensive exchange circuits. Finally, it is important to mention the absence of obsidian from Pampa del Asador, whose distribution in Patagonia is very wide (Ambrústolo et al, 2012; Banegas et al, 2021; Belardi et al, 2006; Castro Esnal et al, 2012; Cruz et al, 2011; Cueto et al, 2018; Fernández et al, 2015; Franco et al, 2020; Gómez Otero et al, 2017; Reyes et al, 2015; Stern, 2017; among others). This absence had already been detected in the case of coastal sites and has been corroborated now in the inland ones, reaffirming our previous proposal that the obsidian from Pampa del Asador did not reach regions located further north of the coast of Chubut province (Alberti, 2016).…”
