Entrepreneurship: The Effect of Colonization

Abstract: This study aims to examine how colonization affects entrepreneurial behavior within countries that were colonized by the Europeans. The intent is to explore if the type of colonization has an impact on a country’s entrepreneurship orientation. Results from this study indicate that the type of colonization does play a role on people’s intentions to engage in entrepreneurship.
