“…Some authors discussing the issue of sustainable HRM focus on HR function (called also HR bundles) and include HR training within this function ( Jackson et al., 2011 ; Jackson and Seo, 2010 ; Guerci et al., 2016 ; Ogbeibu et al., 2020 ). Others discuss the “dimensions” of SHRM which go beyond HR function and include, e.g., teamwork, organizational culture, or top management support ( Jabbour and Santos, 2008 ; Zibarras and Coan, 2015 ; Dumont et al., 2017 ; Piwowar-Sulej, 2020a ; Muduli et al., 2020 ). Still others address the conditions connected with HRM, which must be fulfilled in order to build a sustainability-driven organization.…”

“…The new technologies applied are closely connected to the production system with a reduction in the inputs exploited with a consequent improvement in the quality of life and efficiency in the use of resources (Peters, Weber, Guan, & Hubacek, 2007). However, the use of technologies concerns not only the ability to reduce resources but also the capability to manage information through new technologies to increase the CE's impact on consumers and between producers (Camacho‐Otero, Boks, & Pettersen, 2018; Khan, Daddi, & Iraldo, 2020; Muduli et al, 2020). Thus, as stated by Lopes de Sousa et al (2018), sustainable firms' operations could benefit from the technological attitude towards Industry 4.0.…”

“…As a result, manufacturing sectors, and particularly the AS, need to focus on various OHRM aspects such as environmental training, employee engagement, green teams, developing skill sets, reward and incentive systems, top management support, and commitment (Jabbour et al, 2017; Muduli et al, 2020; Yadav et al, 2019). Such focus on OHRM aspects will facilitate the AS to overcome the sustainability roadblocks it faces.…”
