Abstract:By using a sealed technology, radon levels were determined, annual effective dose, the effective content of radium, radon exhalation rate and uranium concentrations to be the total 30 samples materials used to paint the walls of buildings and homes in Iraq. It was found that the recommended value for all samples for radon concentration is with low potency radium content of 300 Bq / m3 and 370 Bq / kg respectively.
