Environmental restoration as a reinforcer in ritualistic contexts

Abstract: We conducted a functional analysis of severe problem behavior (aggression, disruption, and self‐injury). The analysis examined four potential socially mediated functions: attention, escape, receipt of tangible items, and restoration of environmental items.
