Environmental Science Computing

Abstract: Large‐scale mathematical models can be used successfully to study many environmental problems. The description of such models, their computational complexity, and results obtained in several environmental studies are discussed in this article. Mainly, air pollution models are used to facilitate the presentation. However, the results are rather general and can also be applied in connection with other environmental models.
