Environmental sustainability with the role of green innovation and economic growth in India with bootstrap ARDL approach

Abstract: This paper applies a novel Bootstrap Autoregressive Distributed Lag (BARDL) approach to investigate the relationship between green innovation (GI), economic growth (GDP), drama and film (D&F) industry, and environmental sustainability in India for the 1995 to 2020 period. The data has been checked for its stationarity by applying the Zivot and Andrews (ZA) unit root test, and the cointegration test results suggest a long-run equilibrium relationship between the variables. The empirical finding of long-… Show more

“…This approach is especially relevant for variables like carbon dioxide emissions from energy and primary energy consumption, measured as indices, and other variables assessed in diverse units. Consequently, all variables are realistically expressed and subjected to a logarithmic transformation (Pachiyappan et al 2022).…”

“…The GCC countries are endowed with abundant solar and wind resources, making them suitable for the development of clean energy projects. In recent years, there has been a growing interest in harnessing these renewable resources to diversify the energy mix and reduce dependency on fossil fuels [12][13][14][63][64][65].…”
