“…Based on optimization methods, Huang et al(2013) conducted an economic analysis of carbon capture and storage technologies, and proposed possible directions for the sustainable development of a low-carbon economy and recommendations for corporate technology selection. Rustico and Dimitrov(2022)explored the impact of carbon tax commitments on technology choices and social welfare, and found that commitments will promote companies to choose green technologies and bring better social welfare, while the commitments are less sensitive to small deviations in the optimal tax level.
