Environmental Temperature and Humidity Monitoring System Using Raspberry Pi 4 and Thingspeack

Abstract: In recent years, IoT platforms have become increasingly used due to their untapped potential. This paper aims to create an IoT system to monitor temperature and humidity in an enclosure The Raspberry Pi 4 SBC (Single-Board Computer) development board and ThingSpeak cloud platform will be used to make this system. Data from the DHT11 humidity and temperature sensor will be collected by the Raspberry PI 4 SBC development board, which will transmit it via the WiFi connection to the IoT ThingSpeak platform cloud f… Show more

“…To process the data transmitted by the sensor through the IIC protocol, the Arduino Nano development board with the ATmega 328p microcontroller was chosen. To process the data transmitted by the sensor via the IIC protocol, the Arduino Nano development board with the ATmega 328p microcontroller was chosen, which is present in numerous scientific researches, such as [10][11][12][13]. In the stand designed configuration, communication with the sensor is via digital pins 2 (SCK) and 3 (DOUT).…”

“…Implement the IoT environmental temperature monitoring system using the NodeMCU development board and ThingSpeak cloud platform. The block scheme of the IoT system used for temperature monitoring is shown in Figure1. The data collected by the temperature sensor is transmitted to the Samsung platform's cloud by connecting the System On Chip (SOC) ESP8266 (NodeMCU) WiFi module to an Internet-connected home router[4,5].…”
