Abstract: Environmental tobacco smoke (ETS) is known to cause lung inflammatory and injurious responses. Smoke exposure is associated with the pathobiology related to lung fibrosis, whereas the mechanism by which ETS exposure augments lung fibrogenesis is unclear.
