Environmentally significant indicators of mountain meadow soils in Azerbaijan

Abstract: The most widespread soils in the Republic of Azerbaijan are mountain-meadow soils. The aim of the research was a comprehensive and comparative study of morphodiagnostic parameters, physical and chemical properties, as well as the biochemical activity of natural and anthropogenically modified biogeocenoses of the Kedabey region. The area has unique flora and fauna. Surroundings of the villages Gara Murad, Kichik Garamurad, Saratovka and others were investigated. The research was carried out on virgin and cultiv… Show more

“…trapezoids). Studies carried out in oil-contaminated gray-brown soils of the Karadag and Binagadi massifs revealed 16 species of mesofauna belonging to 5 classes, 6 orders, 8 families, and 15 genera [9], [19], [20]. In order to study complexes of invertebrate animals in characteristic biogeocenoses, they were sampled from 0-10 cm, 10-20 cm, 20-30 cm horizons.…”

“…Modern and comprehensive soil studies in grape agrocenoses in Azerbaijan (Anara Ikhtiar Nasirova) 219 microclimatic parameters, taking into account the intended purpose of agricultural land [16]- [18]. Before fertilization, to study the agricultural field, soil samples were taken from a depth of 0-130 cm in the field area, mixed at horizons and 1 kg, and the soil samples were dried in the laboratory.…”
