“…In addition, as the impedance of internal plant tissues is uneven, the shockwave repeatedly reflects and propagates, with high pressure of the shockwave acting on lowimpedance bubbles and high-impedance plant cell walls, thereby damaging the structural integrity of the cell and generating numerous cracks along cell walls [16]. These cracks function as permeation pathways in extraction processes such as steam distillation and oil extraction [17,18]. This application can increase the extraction yield of EO by subsequent steam distillation.…”

“…The results show that B20 (20% biodiesel and 80% diesel fuel) was found to be an effective blend. However, unsaturated fatty acids are unstable thus making them more prone to polymerization that degrades biodiesel properties 24,25 . Polymerization promotes gum formation, thus clogging the engine injection and filter systems 26 .…”

“…However, unsaturated fatty acids are unstable thus making them more prone to polymerization that degrades biodiesel properties. 24,25 Polymerization promotes gum formation, thus clogging the engine injection and filter systems. 26 Corrosion of the engine system occurs due to the hydrogen peroxide presence with a large number of carboxylic acids, thus decreasing the engine performance and efficiency.…”
