Abstract: Bio‐orthogonal reactions for modification of proteins and unprotected peptides are of high value in chemical biology. The combination of enzymatic halogenation with transition metal‐catalyzed cross‐coupling provides a feasible approach for the modification of proteins and unprotected peptides.
