Enzymes and drugs immobilized on polymers. Synthesis and application in therapeutics

Abstract: Different enzymes (&-amylase, amyloglucosidase) and drugs (procaine, 7-aminocephalosporanic acid, sulphathiazole, ampicillin, chloramphenieol) have been immobilized on cellulose derivatives and Biozan R through covalent bonds to obtain biologically active compounds. Coupling reaction of drugs was achieved by using dieyclohexyl carbodiimide as activating agent. Optimum parameters (temperature, tirnc, drug Concentration, matrix amount, activator concentration) were found. A n Polymeren fixierte Enzyme und Arznei… Show more

“…Moreover, the PDA residue lost its redox‐chromogenic properties. Amino‐functionalized cellulose derivatives bearing different aromatic moieties with terminal primary amino groups at position 6 of the anhydroglucose unit (AGU) are depicted in Figure . The products described are non‐uniform, which might be a consequence of the subsequent reduction of the p‐nitrobenzyl moieties.…”

“…Natural polymers and their derivatives, especially polysaccharides, characterized by biocompatibility, biodegradability, absence of toxicity towards the living organisms, are mainly preferred [1][2][3]. The preparation of the polymer-drug conjugate may be made through various methods, which involve chemical (ionic or covalent) bonding of the drug, insertion into three-dimensional networks, encapsulation in micro -or nano-particles [4][5][6][7][8][9][10].…”

“…1 H-NMR spectroscopy was viewed by Dumitriu 1 in 1989. Many researchers [2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9] used to determine the composition of consitutent monomer units in a copolymer, and monomer reactivity ratios were calculated by using the crylic acid units in a copolymer will lead it to be by a Rotavapor.…”
