Eosinophilic appendicitis: an insidious and fortuitous diagnosis

Abstract: Eosinophilic appendicitis is a rare inflammatory condition characterized by the infiltration of eosinophils into the appendix, which is often misdiagnosed as acute appendicitis given similarities in their clinical presentation.
