Eosinophilic oesophagitis: an otolaryngologist's perspective

Abstract: Eosinophilic oesophagitis is a diagnosis that is being made more frequently in the assessment of dysphagia in both adults and children. It is unclear whether this is a result of increased prevalence or improved diagnostic methods. Children present commonly to paediatric institutions with foreign body impaction.
