Eosinophilic oesophagitis in children can be effectively managed with elimination diets and corticosteroids

Abstract: Eosinophilic oesophagitis, a chronic inflammatory disease of the oesophagus, is the most common cause of chronic oesophageal symptoms in children and young adults. Diagnosis requires consideration of both clinical symptoms and histopathology, as well as a trial of a proton pump inhibitor.
