Epidemiology of chronic renal disease in the Galician population: Results of the pilot Spanish EPIRCE study

Abstract: The prevalence of CKD and conventional cardiovascular risk factors is high in this randomly selected sample of the general population. Secondary preventive measures are needed to detect chronic kidney impairment as early as possible and to reduce the incidence and mortality arising from the associated comorbidities.
