Epidemiology of gout and hyperuricemia in New Caledonia

Abstract: Objectives. New Caledonia is a Paci c island of 270,000 inhabitants with mixed ethnicities, including Melanesians (39.1%), Polynesians (10.2%) and people from European ancestry (27.2%).
