Abstract: The epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) is a cell surface receptor belonging to erythroblastic leukemia viral oncogene homologue (ErbB) family of tyrosine kinase. It plays critical role in the regulation of cell proliferation, survival and differentiation.
