Epiploic appendagitis : a case report

Abstract: Epiploic appendagitis is a condition characterized by the ischemia and inflammation of the epiploic appendices of the colon that, can cause severe abdominal pain. It’s relatively rare. In the present article, we describe the clinical case of a 45- year-old man who was admitted with localized pain in the left iliac fossa. Physical examination revealed rebound tenderness.
