The auxiliary methods of diagnosis are abdominal ultrasound and abdominal Tomography (CT). The histological finding defines its classification depending on the presence of epithelial lining and the type of content of the cysts. The therapeutic options depend on the clinical manifestations and the morphological characteristics of the cyst.
