Abstract: Mineral exploration since 2005 in a previously underexplored region of southwestern Mongolia resulted in the definition of the Zuun Mod porphyry Mo-Cu deposit, followed by discovery of the Altan Nar and Bayan Khundii epithermal gold deposits along with several prospects and advanced exploration projects.
