Abstract: The urgent requirement for efficient recycling strategies in the wind energy industry prompted this study to explore the behavior of methanesulfonic acid (MSA) in the solvolysis of carbon fiber‐reinforced plastics (CFRP), as an alternative to standard solvents and acids.
