ANOMALOUS LIGHT SCATTERING IN AQUEOUS KCl SOLUTIONSMolecular light scattering in dilute aqueous potassium chloride solutions has been studied. Anomalous (additional) molecular scattering of light is experimentally detected in the concentration interval from 0.001 to 0.004 mole fractions of the electrolyte. The obtained data are compared with the literature data on light scattering in aqueous and non-aqueous solutions of potassium chloride. The absence of additional scattering in the previous works was substantiated. K e y w o r d s: light scattering, water, solutions, electrolytes.
