EQUILIBRIUM STUDIES ON Ni(II) and Cu(II) COMPLEXES with 4,7- DIMETHYL-1,10-PHENANTHROLINE and ACIDIC AMINO ACIDS in AQUEOUS SOLUTION

Abstract: The aim of this study is to determine the protonation constants of selected ligands {4,7dimethyl-1,10-phenanthroline (4,7-dmphen), aspartic acid (asp), and glutamic acid (glu)} and their stability constants of (1:1) and (1:1:1) complexes with Ni(II) and Cu(II) ion have been determined I = 0.1 M KCl and T = 298.15 K.
