ERK5 Contributes to VEGF Alteration in Diabetic Retinopathy

Abstract: Diabetic retinopathy is one of the most common causes of blindness in North America. Several signaling mechanisms are activated secondary to hyperglycemia in diabetes, leading to activation of vasoactive factors.
