Abstract:Erosive pustular dermatosis of the scalp is a rare inflammatory skin disorder that most commonly affects the elderly with androgenic alopecia. It is characterized by painless crusted erosions that usually appear following a traumatic event. It has been associated with several autoimmune diseases and commonly responds to high-potency topical steroids.This report presents a rare case of erosive pustular dermatosis of the scalp in an 84-year-old man who presented to our clinic.
