Erosive wear of glass/epoxy composites coating filled with hexagonal boron nitride nanoparticles

Abstract: In this experimental study, organic and inorganic coatings are applied on glass/epoxy composite materials to acquire an advanced understanding of the erosive wear performance. After coating process, SiO2 erodent particles having an average impact velocity of 53 m/s and an average diameter of 250 µm were used to evaluate the erosion rates based on the weight loss in the test specimens.
