Esophageal pneumatosis in the setting of small bowel ileus with acute resolution after nasogastric tube decompression

Abstract: Esophageal pneumatosis is a rare condition with diverse potential etiologies including traumatic, mechanical, ischemic, obstructive respiratory, autoimmune, immunodeficient, and infectious causes.
