ESR on Sm3 ions in mixed-valence compound

Abstract: In ESR study on Sm3+ ion in the intermediate-valence single crystals SmB6 spectra are first found static Jahn-Teller effect on the rare earth ion. The energy of Jahn-Teller splitting is estimated.
