ESR study of covalent bonds in some copper (II) complexes

Abstract

By means of ESR and spectrophotometric measurements the bond parameters of the magnetic orbitals in the copper (II) compounds: are evaluated. The covalency character of the copper–ligand bonds results remarkable and almost the same in all the compounds examined. This confirms the poor influence of the out‐of‐plane ligands on the magnetic parameters of the complex ion.
