“…Herein, we would like to add some data from Latin America in regard to the currently incomplete picture of the risk attributable to inherited, environmental, or lifestyle factors for cancer in most of the regions and rural areas from Peru. “…En el Perú, de acuerdo a los reportes del Ministerio de Salud (MINSA) y Gobiernos Regionales, las enfermedades respiratorias agudas (IRA) en los diagnósticos de consultas externas se ubican en un 16% (Zolezzi, 2017). En el año 2018, hasta la cuarta semana epidemiológica (SE 04) comprendida del 21 al 27 de enero, de acuerdo al Boletín Epidemiológico (Ordoñez, 2018) en comparación con el 2017, se observó un decremento del 2,5%, pese a ello, en el departamento de Junín se reportó un incremento de 38,4% y, un 6,7% de episodios de Asma notificados, con mayor incidencia en los departamentos Tacna con 118,2%; siendo el Callao con mayor índice acumulativo.…”
