ESTIMACIÓN DE LA BIOMASA EN UN BOSQUE BAJO MANEJO DE Pinus patula Schltdl. et Cham.

Show more

“…35 Mg ha -1 and 3.25 Mg ha -1 , respectively. In contrast, Pinus patula shows increment rates of 6.7 Mg ha -1 in Hidalgo State (Figueroa-Navarro et al, 2010), which are only observed for P. pseudostrobus at the age of 22 years and at its best shape of productivity in the study area (IS 21); in all site indexes, P teocote has average annual increments in biomass below 6 Mg ha -1 .…”

“…In a complementary way, several methods have been proposed to assess the ability of carbon sequestration of forest ecosystems, in order to evaluate this environmental service with reliable procedures and cost efficient benefits (Husch et al, 2003;Ravindranath and Ostwald, 2007;Van Laar and Akca, 2007;Ho over, 2008;Bigsby, 2009;Pretzsch, 2009). In this context, Mexico has implemented several assessment methods for estimating biomass and carbon in different forest ecosystems (De Jong et al, 1995;Ordóñez et al, 2001;Acosta-Mireles et al, 2 0 02 ;Pepper et al , 2007;Rodríguez-Laguna et al , 2008;Balderrama et al, 2008;Domínguez-Cabrera et al, 2009;Návar, 2009;Figueroa-Navarro et al, 2010).…”
