Estimating heritability of song considering within-individual variance in a wild songbird: The collared flycatcher

Abstract: Heritable genetic variation is a prerequisite for adaptive evolution; however, our knowledge about the heritability of plastic traits, such as behaviors, is scarce, especially in wild populations.
