Remaining oil is enrichment relative, and the reservoir heterogeneity is serious at D404 block of Xinzhan oilfield, Songliao Basin. It is necessary of classification research to guide the infilling and the injection-production system adjustment. Through consolidation analysis of Core sample, porosity, permeability, shale content and flow zone index are selected as classification parameters of the division of flow unit. Using flow zone indicator method , the reservoir was divided into four types including I,II, III,IV types. The Classification results show that I type is the best reservoir and the strongest percolation capacity, and II,III types are the second, however IV type reservoir is the worst, the weakest seepage ability. the flow unit classification has solved some problem that the heterogeneity of reservoir has an influence on logging response, laying the foundation for the watered-out mechanism research and for the establishment of the identification standard.
