Estimating Single Tree Stem and Branch Biomass Using Terrestrial Laser Scanning

Abstract: This paper presents a novel non-destructive approach for individual tree stem and branch biomass estimation using terrestrial laser scanning data. The study area is located at the Royal Belum Reserved Forest area, Gerik, Perak. Each forest plot was designed with a circular shape and contains several scanning locations to ensure good visibility of each tree.
