Estimating the Mass Balance of the Antarctic Ice Sheet from 1985 to 2021 using the Input-Output Method

Abstract: Accurate monitoring of the Antarctic ice sheet's mass balance is crucial for comprehending its contribution to global sea level rise and climate patterns. We estimate the Antarctic mass balance from 1985 to 2021 using an input-output method. Ice discharge is estimated using an automated algorithm, while surface mass balance data is obtained from the RACMO2.3p2 model.
