“…Error bars correspond to ±1σ. Uncertainties corresponding to bulk modulus parameters of different reports [42][43][44]46] are also plotted. from the figure, the ellipse has a negative slope, implying a negative correlation between the B 0 and B .…”

“…Sc 2 O 3 nanocrystalline powder (99.99% purity, from Alfa Aesar) has been used for the present study. The ambient characterization was carried out using x-ray diffraction and Raman spectroscopy and has been described in detail in our previous report [46], wherein the sample was identified with a cubic structure having a crystallite size of 31 nm. However, prior to the present high-pressure studies, an angle dispersive x-ray diffraction at zero pressure was also recorded for the sake of completeness, and using Rietveld refinement, the purity of phase has been confirmed.…”

“…[11] As shown in the enlarged part of the XRD pattern in Figure 1 For Nd 2 O 3 , the Raman characteristic peaks located at 108, 191, and 438 cm À 1 are attributed to E g , A g , and E g vibrations, respectively. [12] For CeO 2 , only one Raman peak at 462 cm À 1 can be observed; this is attributed to the F 2g vibrational mode of cubic fluorite. [13] For Nd 0.1 Ce 0.9 O 1.95 and Nd 0.3 Ce 0.7 O 1.85 , three noticeable Raman vibrational bands at 254, 460, and 580 cm À 1 can be observed, corresponding to the disordered vibrations of oxygen anions in the anion lattice, the F 2g mode of the fluorite crystalline phase, and the vibrations of oxygen vacancies, respectively.…”
