Abstract:The Centralized Radio Access Network (C-RAN) architectures in the future mobile networks will have to employ, besides the optical links, the already available ethernet copper infrastructure in the connection between Base Band Units (BBU's) and Remote Radio Heads (RRH's) in order to cut implementation costs.
