Estimation of Parameters of a Tank Wagon for Railways of India

Abstract

On the basis of the developed design documentation a tank-car structure finite element mathematical model is created, and the analysis of stresses in elements of frameless tank-car for oil transportation on the Indian railways at various operational loading is carried out. The results of calculations are compared with the data of prototype tests.
