Estimation of sensitivity performance using a new parameter

Abstract

A new parameter which essentially includes the average slope <1/, of the magnitude characteristic in the pass band of the filter is introduced. It is shown that there is a strong correlation between the sensitivity of the filter magnitude and the value of the integral parameterNow it becomes possible to estimate the sensitivity performances of various filters, without the actual computation of filter elements.
