Проведен анализ факторов, влияющих на организацию спасательных работ в горных районах на примере Карачаево-Черкесской Республики, включающий анализ возможных чрезвычайных ситуаций в горных районах, задач поисково-спасательных формирований и применяемых ими сил и средств. Полученные выводы являются исходными данными для обоснования алгоритма организации спасательных работ в горных районах и комплекса средств для их проведения.

Рассмотрено применение метода статистических испытаний для организации выполнения первоочередных инженерных задач спасательными формированиями и разработан научно-методический подход повышения эффективности применения аварийноспасательных подразделений в районе чрезвычайной ситуации на примере оборудования и содержания ими пункта полевого водоснабжения.
