Abstract:We study the influence of the depth of a surface defect and its shape factor on the probability of fracture of a superheater collector made of 12Kh1MF steel after operation for 1.785 ⋅10 5 h . We plot the dependences of the probability of fracture for a model of the collector weakened by a partially circular crack on its inner surface on the depth of the defect under the conditions of static loading, stress corrosion cracking, and cyclic loading. It is shown that the probability of fracture of the superheater … Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
