Occupational stress can be defined as a process in which individuals perceive their labor demands as stressors, provoking negative reactions (Paschoal and Tamayo, 2004). In view of this, this study aimed to "analyze the main organizational stressors, in the perception of the Technical-Administrative body in Education, of the Rectory of the Federal Institute Farroupilha". For this purpose, a bibliographic and descriptive survey research, with quantitative and qualitative approach was carried out. Participants were 59 employees, who answered questions related to personal and occupational data, the Work Stress Scale (WSS) and a discursive question. The information was analyzed through descriptive statistics (categorization of scales, Chi-square test and Cronbach's coefficient), and by the content analysis technique (Bardin, 2011).
