Estudio comparativo del estado nutricional de niños y niñas residentes en cuatro partidos de la provincia de Buenos Aires (Argentina), en el marco de la transición nutricional

Abstract: El objetivo fue evaluar y comparar el estado nutricional en poblaciones infanto-juveniles residentes en cuatro partidos de la provincia de Buenos Aires y observar si existen diferencias vinculadas a los contextos ambientales y socioeconómicos particulares, en el marco de la transición nutricional. “…Data obtained in two cross‐sectional cohort (C) studies were compared: 1) C1 was carried out between 2005 and 2007; it included 418 girls aged 8–14 years old (10.48 ± 1.77 years old) who attended public school primary and secondary levels. The institutions were selected in a non‐random manner based on convenience sampling to cover the existing socio‐environmental variability in the district (Oyhenart et al, 2013, 2018); 2) C2 included 474 girls aged 8–14 years old (10.41 ± 1.96 years old) and was developed between 2015 and 2019 by the same trained staff, using identical methodological criteria and selection of academic institutions.
