There is, therefore, an imperative for cautious selection of suitable cell lines for functional studies in cancer. Finally, the over-expression of miR-10b and miR-196a clearly interfered with cell cycle progression, suggesting a possible role in cell proliferation control for these molecules in HNSCC.
