“Et aysi trobaretz de las suas chansos”: Occitan Manuscripts Online

Abstract

In this article, I provide a list of Occitan manuscripts that are available for consultation online and a brief commentary on advances in accessibility to Occitan manuscripts from the late nineteenth century to the present. Using the history of troubadour chansonnier Sg () as an example of how digital collections have revolutionized the study of Occitan manuscripts, I give an overview of the different resources currently available to Occitanists. This brief commentary is followed by a bibliography containing descriptions of, and links to, 120 Occitan manuscripts available online. This bibliography may also be accessed at < trobaretz.wordpress.com >, which will be updated regularly. Dans cet article, nous mettons à la disposition des lecteurs de Tenso une liste de manuscrits occitans accessibles en ligne, ainsi qu’un bref commentaire sur les progrès effectués, de la fin du dix-neuvième siècle jusqu’à nos jours, pour rendre disponible ces manuscrits. A partir d’une description de l’histoire du chansonnier Sg () qui illustre la manière dont les fonds numérisés ont révolutionné l’étude de manuscrits occitans, nous proposons un résumé des différentes ressources désormais à la disposition des Occitanistes. Ce bref commentaire est suivi d’une bibliographie qui comporte des liens vers 120 manuscrits occitans actuellement consultables en ligne.
