Abstract:This study evaluated the protective effect of the ethanolic leaf extract of I. aquatica against a rat model of cisplatin-induced kidney damage. This study observed that the ethanolic leaf extract of I. aquatica attenuate cisplatin-induced kidney damage in a dosedependent manner. This shows that the ethanolic leaf extract of I. aquatica contains essential constituents that can be used for the treatment cisplatin associated kidney damage.
